THE DEATH OF DELTA STATE EX-GOVERNOR AND HIS BRIEF BIOGRAPHY
The death of Senator Felix Ovuodoroye Ibru has continued to attract heartfelt condolences from sympathizers, cronies, business partners and from political families. The cause of death is yet to be revealed by his family members but he died after a brief illness.
Until his demise, Chief Ibru was the first civilian governor of Delta state who led the affairs of the state at its embryonic stage. Senator Felix Ibru was born to Mr and Mrs Peter and Janet Ibru on December 7th, 1935 at Agbarha-Otor in Ughelli North local government Area of Delta state.
He was a renowned and respectable political titan and octogenarian who spread his competence and intellect in business. So, he was a business legend who inspired and helped a lot of people within Delta and beyond. He was the president of Urhobo Progress Union and his exemplary style of leadership was commendable as he rendered a selfless service to the honour and benefit of every Tom, Dick and Harry. He died on March 12th, 2016 at a ripe age of 80 years.
