In our findings, the Nigerian Police salary structure increases with increase in rank.

For instance, the rank with the lowest salary structure is the Police Recruit with a salary of N9,019.42 per month and annual salary of N108,233. Inspector General of Police (IGP) is the highest rank with the highest salary of 7111,498 per month and annual salary of N8,537,976.
