President Mohammadu Buhari says no Nigerian girl should be subjected through the cruelty of forced marriage. The president said this during his speech at the state house where he entertained the visit of Amina Nkeki, the rescued Chibok girl and her four-month-old baby girl fathered by a commander of Boko Haram while she was in the terrorist’s camp.
Buhari said that the Nigerian government will do everything possible to ensure that Amina receives the best emotional, medical, psychological and other necessary care required to make her recover and be reintegrated fully into the society. He also said that every girl has the right to an education and a life choice. According to him, Amina’s continuous education is the priority of the Federal Government and she must be enabled to go back to school.
