College of Health and Medical Sciences: School of Nursing Science Nursing Science B.NSc. (Hons) Nursing Science 5 Credits in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology

 

Direct Entry: For Direct Entry Candidates, it is expected that the student will:

(1) be a Registered Nurse (RN) with the N&MCN. Also, possession of at least one post-RN certificate e.g. Registered Midwife (RM), Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) and Registered Public Health Nurse (RPHN) would be an advantage.

(2) Have satisfactory result at the SSCE or its equivalent in 5 subjects at not more than 2 sittings which must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology

(3) Submit official transcript of all the nursing programmes to be used for the admission

(4) Submit current license from the N&MCN at least 6-9 months expiry duration

(5) Produce letter of reference from 3 people which may include current employer
