Adamawa State Musician No Longer Found after he allegedly released a Song criticizing some of the politicians in the State
An Adamawa state-based popular musician, Ado Daukaka has gone missing few hours after his brand new song captioned, Gyara Kayanka which condemns some politicians in the state hit the airwaves like cyclones last week Friday, June 24th. Premium Times reports that Daukaka left his residence in the early hours of Saturday, 25th June for an early morning prayer at a mosque and never returned since then.
According to one of his relatives, Atiku Mustapha, his appearance is connected with his new song. ‘Gyara Kayanka’. In ‘Gyara Kayanka, Daukaka accused some of the elected politicians of the ruling APC of deceiving the deceiving the electorates.
Mustapha did not express surprise that he could be abducted due to his song in which he compared the present and pasted elected members of the Adamawa State House of Assembly. He was worried that the manner and way things are happening will not go down well with the state.
Hussaini Bello, the Leader of Adamawa Concern Citizens, a pressure group in the state stated that they totally condemn the abduction of the famous singer. He said that the matter is being investigated and whosoever that is connected with his abduction will be exposed. He said that singers in the society use their God-given talent to capture the society’s mood. He revealed that their songs do not augur well with those in authority except the singer lauds them with praises.
