2016/2017 Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU), Katsina Post-UTME/DE Screening Exercise: Eligibility, Registration and Screening Details

Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU), Katsina wishes to invite all the interested and qualified candidates who applied for admission into the university through UTME (Unified Tertiary Matriculations Examination) and DE (Direct Entry), to the admission screening into its degree programmes for the 2016/2017 academic year.

Eligibility for the 2016/2017 Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU), Katsina Post-UTME/DE Screening Exercise

  • Candidates must have chosen Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU) as a university of choice in the 2016 UTME Application Form
  • Candidates must have scored a minimum of 180 marks in the 2016 UTME or applied for Direct Entry (DE)
  • Candidates must possess five (5) credit passes in relevant O’level subjects (which must include English Language and Mathematics) at not more than two sittings

Post-UTME/DE Screening Exercise for the 2016/2017 Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU), Katsina

The screening exercise will be conducted as follows:

Online Registration of candidates: All candidates (both UTME & DE candidates) who applied for admission into Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU), Katsina are expected to register online between Wednesday, the 10th of August and Sunday, the 4th of September, 2016 through the university’s portal at http://portal.umyu.edu.ng/application/

Names of candidates who have met the entry requirements including subject combination from among those that have registered online will be displayed on the website and the candidates invited for Screening Exercise upon payment of a Screening Fee of N2,500.00 (Two Thousand, Five Hundred Naira) only

Candidates shortlisted will thereafter be informed of the Screening Exercise schedules as well as other requirements as from the 12th of September, 2016
