Eligibility/Entry Qualifications for the 2016/2017 Afrigos Film and Media Academy Post-UTME Screening Exercise

It is compulsory that candidates meet the criteria below before they apply:

  • Candidates must have sat for the 2016 UTME and at least scored a minimum of 150
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 5 O’level credit passes in NECO, WAEC or NABTEB. Also note that there are special requirements for different schools and departments
  • Candidates who did not choose Afrigos Film and Media Academy as their choice of institution are eligible to apply
  • Awaiting Result candidates can also apply
  • Candidates with HND/OND/BSc can apply with UTME

Method of Application (How to Apply for the 2016/2017 Afrigos Film and Media Academy Post-UTME Screening Exercise)

  • Visit any of the chosen participating banks and pay the sum of N5,000.00 (Five Thousand Naira) only to Afrigos Media Academy Account
  • Complete the ‘Application Form’ on the Afrigos Film and Media Academy ‘s website at http://www.afrigosmedia.tv/
  • You will be needed to fill in your Teller Number
  • Proceed to finish up the ‘Application Form’ and submit as you attach your O’level and JAMB results
  • Your Admission Letter will be forwarded to you by E-mail within three (3) working days
  • Print the Admission Letter and go to the Admissions Office of the Academy for screening

Screening Details

Applicants who receive Admission Letter by Email are advised to go to the Afrigos Film and Media Academy, 38, A Close, 62 Road, 6th Avenue, Gwarimpa, Abuja with the following documents for screening:

  •  A copy of the admission letter printed out from your mail
  • Originals of bank tellers obtained when you paid for the form online
  • Photocopy of your admission letter with your signature and date on it
  • Original and three (3) photocopy of your Birth Certificate or sworn declaration of age
  • Medical Certificate from a Government Hospital
  • Ten (6) recent passport photographs
  • Original (sighting) and 3 photocopies of O’level and JAMB results and all academic certificates gotten so far
  • The ‘Attestation Form’ attached to your admission is to be completed by your relative whom the academy could contact in emergency case.

Note that the academy’s admissions office starts from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm daily
