Eligibility for the 2016/2017 Afe Babalola University (ABUAD) Post UTME/DE Screening Exercise

  • Candidates who made ABUAD their choice of institution in the 2016 UTME (Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination)
  • Candidates who did not select Afe Babalola University (ABUAD) in the last UTME are also qualified to sit for the Post UTME screening of the university. They are to pay the sum of Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N2,500.00) for change of institution and Ten Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N10,500.00) for the Post-UTME form into any of the banks listed below
  • Admission into Afe Babalola University for Non-Direct Entry (UTME) candidates is dependent on the candidate’s successful pass in the UTME examination and Post-UTME screening exercise
  • Awaiting O’level Result Candidates can also apply for admission provided the result will be ready at resumption in September 2016

Direct Entry/Inter University Transfer Requirements

  • Direct Entry (DE) form from Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) is needed for the candidate to be eligible to apply for admission into Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti
  • Inter University Transfer/Direct Entry admissions are as well available for all the courses listed above except Medicine & Surgery, Law and Nursing Science
  • Applicants are to pay the an amount of N10.500.00 (Ten Thousand Five Hundred Naira) only into any of the designated banks and collect the application form at the University Campus in Ado Ekiti
  • Note: Candidates are to present their Bank Tellers and the completed ‘Registration Form(s) at the venue of the Post-UTME screening exercise

General Admission Requirements for Undergraduates Programmes

  • 5 O’level credit passes at one sitting which will include English Language, Literature in English and Mathematics and any other two Art Subjects or Social Sciences are required for admission into College of Law
  • 5 O’level credit passes at one sitting which will include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics are required for admission into Medicine & Surgery and Nursing Science programmes
  • For other programmes, 5 O’level credit passes at not more than two sittings which must include English and Mathematics and any other 3 subjects relevant to the course of study
